A field station exists to observe, not to perform. Researchers return to it year after year, adding to a record that only becomes meaningful over time.
That’s what this is. Wilderness exploration, ecological stewardship, practical education, and the generative design of a resilient EcoVillage — documented as it happens, in the Gulf of Alaska, on Kachemak Bay.
This is not primarily a commercial site. Its value grows through continual observation, documentation, and experimentation — shared openly rather than sold. Whatever commercial life it develops will emerge from that work, not the other way around.
Why It Matters
Most conservation and homesteading projects vanish the moment they stop being documented. This one is built to be legible for decades — a repeatable model, tested by real expeditions, that others can learn from and eventually repeat themselves.
